Walt Riggs

Walt Riggs, a southern transplant, originally NJ now a 10 year resident of the South. Alabama to be exact. Go moved south by my job in Law Enforcement and never plan on going north again . My love of go fast stuff started at an early age. Not sure how old you are in 5th grade but, that's when I got my first dirt bike. A Honda CR 80. It only got worse from there. In order after the Honda was: XR 100, a KX 125, a YZ 490. Then I was old enough to drive and graduated to the street. Started with a CBR 600 Fi, then a CBR 600RR, a RVT RC51 1000R, a ZX6R, a VMax 1700, a BMW R9T 1200, now a Ducati Streetfigher V4.

Cars went similarly, started with a 74 Dodge Dart Californian, a 71 Challenger, a 86 Caprice Interceptor, a 90 Mustang GT, a couple jeeps in there......then I bought my fav. A 2001 Ford Lightning, took me 5 years but it is rebuilt and upgraded.

 

Along the way in 2016 I bought my 2015 Subie STI which I knew nothing about. Thanks to the wonders of the interwebs, and forums I learned a lot, mostly the hard way by blowing it up. She is on her third engine, a Magnum by IAG. I added and subtracted what I wanted and they built it to my specs. It's capable of holding a little over 1000bhp. Good thing we're pushing it to 960. Final install was done by Controlled Motors in Alpharetta. The owner/ operator is a good friend and a hell of a mechanic. Final tuning was done by Ciscio Performance also in Alpharetta. Final dyno put 805whp/727wtq to the ground. I'm told it had more in it......but it's my daily for crying out loud. Feel free to reach out to me at any time.
