Have you ever had a dream so big you couldn’t sleep at night? It’s something that’s always present and never far from mind. That’s how I feel about racing. I have wanted to push the limits in every vehicle I have ever had. Sometimes in life as well. Aaron Barnes is my name, I’m 40 years old. This is my quest to show the world what the ej platform is truly capable of. I have spent the last five years building a 2011 Subaru WRX. It was built by my friends and I. To say it’s modified would be an understatement. I have decided to go an abnormal route and retain the stock interior for now. I want to build.

A 8 second street car that’s full interior. I opened my own Subaru shop with my family and friends. It’s a small mom and pop in middle maine. We build engines and  race cars. I mentor younger guys who want to learn motors. I teach them to build a motor like themselves. To use patience and craftsmanship. I’m very proud of them. I don’t want them to make my same mistakes. We have a small local track not far from our shop. I try to use it as a tool to teach them life lessons and apply it in the world.  My hope is to move the shop to Tampa florida in the future to be closer to year round racing.  I just want to thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I hope you join me on our quest to compete and turn a few heads doing so. Long live the EJ!!!
